The self-described “Jewpublican” comidian and EP have some fun in today’s episode. Among other things, they talk about Cohen’s politically-incorrect hit “Niggles” (which turns out to be a real word), hyper-sensitivity, Travis’ upcoming album and what it’s like to almost be attacked by an angry mob.
Radio Free Threedonia XXIII — Motor City Shaker
• November 2nd, 2009Michigan Congressman Thaddeus McCotter, one of the fast-rising stars of the Republican party, graciously stops by RF3D this week, featuring guest panelist Stage Right from Big Hollywood.
In addition to sharing the most concisely articulate battle-plans for the GOP in the 21st century, Rep. McCotter — who seems as content to secure a recording contract and kick out the jams, while every sane U.S. citizen, Republican or Democrat, would want him as the next Speaker of the House, VP and/or eventual President of the United States — also lays it out in plain and simple language who’s the true party of “No.” Quick clues: It starts with “D” and rhymes with “emocrats.” All this and he even throws in a great nod to T.S. Eliot.

• October 11th, 2009We thought RF3D XXII had not been hijacked by Young Gun Conservative’s Nick “Captain Conservative” Polyzos and Kender “Patriot Missile” MacGowan, but we were wrong. The boys very pointed brand of political incorrectness definitely worth the thirty-some minutes they tied us up in the basement and took control of the Radio Free Threedonia airwaves. Happiness in slavery indeed.
Radio Free Threedonia XXI — Operation Gratitude’s Carolyn Blashek
• October 5th, 2009For better and worse, the term “rock star” gets thrown around a little loosely as an adjective these days, to the point even a “jack squat” President somehow receives what typically belongs on the Foo Fighters and their peers. Fortunately, however, one lady in Southern California realizes our men and women of the Armed Forces deserve to be called “rock stars,” too: Operation Gratitude founder Carolyn Blashek. She sits in with RF3D this week, bringing us up to speed with the many events the group has on the horizon, urging everyone to do what they can to very simply get up and get involved.
RF3D XX - Bo “Bald Eagle” Clark
• September 21st, 2009Stand-up comedian and proud terrorist-hating American Bo “Bald Eagle” Clark may not have known exactly who was on the other end of the phone line, at least not right away, but RF3D had a great time getting to know the Right to Laugh veteran. From life philosophies trumpeting the merits of hard work, to his upcoming 30/30 Stand Up for America tour through the heartland, definitely a show you don’t want to miss.

• September 1st, 2009Film critic extraordinaire Christian Toto returns to Radio Free Threedonia to wrap up the 2009 summer movie season in grand style. Sure, he’s admittedly one of the only critics in the world who hasn’t seen Up or G.I. Joe, but no matter. Good times all around, as Christian and the RF3D team, including a visit from Republibot 3.0 (AKA Rufus substitute #2), weigh in on the summertime surprises (The Hangover, 500 Days of Summer), disappointments (Bruno, Terminator Salvation), and nods to movies featuring time-travel and/or midgets, and much, much more.
We somehow lost JohnFN along the way, too. Group hypothesis figured he pouted off with the Taking Woodstock slams that kicked off the show. Just a guess and be sure to visit Christian’s What Would Toto Watch? site as much as possible when not here at Threedonia or Radio Free Threedonia.
Radio Free Threedonia XVIII - Andrew Klavan
• August 27th, 2009It’s not often in life, let alone on RF3D, where topics of conversation veer from 19th Century Romanticism and Wordsworth as a neo-con to an Islamic Reformation and Michael Steele’s toothless response to D.L. Hughley instead of defending conservatism. Of course, it’s not often RF3D has Andrew Klavan, best-selling author and host of PJTV’s “Klavan on Culture,” as a guest.
All the above and he even coined the term “learned ignorance” when describing modern liberals on college campuses, so press “play” already. Don’t cost nothin’ …

• August 22nd, 2009One of the godfathers of modern stand-up, funny-man and author Tom Dreesen graces the Radio Free Threedonia airwaves with his presence in the show’s latest installment, which also featured the debut appearance of Threedonia’s Matt Helm, subbing for Rufus T. Firefly. Soon to be celebrating his 40th year in comedy, Tom touches on Tim and Tom: An American Comedy in Black and White, his recent book with his former partner Tim “Venus Flytrap” Reid, before explaining how the very simple rule of comedy — being funny — doesn’t have to rely on “filth flarn filth,” and how the PC police have no place anywhere near the world of comedy.
No conversation with Tom Dreesen would be complete, however, without discussions of his old friend Frank Sinatra, for whom the comic served as opening act for several years, and Tom generously shares many intimate stories of the legendary “Ol’ Blue Eyes.” We at RF3D raise our glasses to Sinatra’s memory and, more importantly, to Tom for taking the time to visit with us.

• July 28th, 2009Movieguide’s Dr. Ted Baehr braves the occasionally bawdy RF3D waters for show number 16. Sorry, almost forgot we’re on Roman standard here — XVI. Turning in one of the few positive reviews of Terminator Salvation, Dr. Baehr also relates a recent development in which the New York Times endorsed his conservative and values-based Movieguide. Yes, that’s right, that New York Times! In addition to Floyd R. Turbo and Wankette returning to the virtual airwaves, the afternoon included plugs galore, from Dr. Baehr’s Frodo & Harry, an exploration/comparison of the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter series, to John Ziegler’s Media Malpractice, a little Big Hollywood for good measure as well.

• July 5th, 2009Befitting a show featuring actor/TV host/songwriter/musician/rapper/neophyte horseback rider Zach Selwyn, this week’s installment of Radio Free Threedonia goes all over the place. A show packed so full of greatness, even JohnFN’Wayne found his way back to the conference call. Good thing, too, as he contributed to much of the greatness.
Also, for those in the LA area, enjoy a post-Michael Jackson funeral freakshow sideshow whatever you want to call the warm-up for the actual Ringling Bros. circus coming very soon to the Staples Center by heading the Hotel Cafe at 10 PM this Wednesday, July 8th, for Zachariah and the Lobos Riders.
